The CMA investigated a group of online hotel-booking services over whether promotions, scarcity messages, search-ranking disclosures and extra charges were presented fairly. In February 2019 six named booking operations, covering Booking.com, Agoda, Expedia, ebookers, Hotels.com and trivago, submitted formal undertakings concerning the design and presentation of their services.
