Find the original case and understand search results.

Can a person’s name lead to a case on Google?

Yes, a public case about a person can include the reported name in its heading and metadata. Discovery still depends on the search engine; a matching name alone does not establish identity.

Why is a newly published case not on Google yet?

Publication and indexing are different steps. A page can be live before a search engine discovers or indexes it. There is no guaranteed indexing time or search position.

Why does Google show an older description?

Search engines keep their own index and may choose a different snippet from the page. Open the case to read the latest visible information and status.

How do I find the exact case again?

Keep its report reference and permanent URL. You can search the reference in Riskcheck or follow the saved case link instead of relying on a broad name search.

Should I create duplicate reports to improve visibility?

No. Repeated accounts of the same incident make context harder to follow. Use the original case reference when supplying a response or correction, and report a separate incident only when it is genuinely distinct.
