I am mentioned in a report. How can I respond?
Open the case and choose Respond or appeal. Register or sign in, write your response, and optionally attach evidence. Your response is published immediately without approval.
Can I challenge a mistaken identity?
Yes. Explain why the case does not concern you and provide relevant supporting information through the response or correction process. Do not post identity documents in a public narrative.
How can I ask for incorrect information to be corrected?
Sign in and use Data request for a private request. To publish a correction or dispute, use the response form on the case page. A request does not automatically edit or delete the original report.
Does sending an appeal automatically remove a report?
No. Sending a response or request does not itself hide the case. Administrators control publication, and the case’s visible status should be checked for changes.
What if the issue has been resolved?
Refer to the original case when providing an update. Explain the outcome, such as a refund or completed service, and include the date. A resolved case may remain public with its updated status.
